At the same time my weight was piling up, my social life was vanishing. All I wanted to do is to stay in and keep it to myself. Eventually, I decided to take the quick way and tried some diet pills, this resulted in me having to be hospitalized quite a number of times. The yo-yo effect of the diet pills took a toll on both my mental and physical health and my weight skyrocketed to 136 kg.
It made me want to just stay in even more and I chose not to have anything to do with the outside world for
2-3 years.
Things changed when I came across The Biggest Loser Asia show one day. It motivated me to go for an audition for the show’s season 2! Although I did not make it as a contestant on the show, this gave me the inspiration to get my life back on track. I was determined to lose weight the right way with exercise. After a free work out session at Fitness First on a complimentary free pass, given by a friend, I made my mind to be member. I started off with light workout and now come in between 3-4 times a week. Together with Fitness First’s healthy eating guide, I now weigh 78 kg.
I feel alive and like a brand new person. Losing weight can be as easy as 1-2-3 if you learn to love yourself first. You, too, can achieve the same weight loss result and have a huge smile on your face just like me!
